2010 Census

The 2010 Census represented the most massive participation movement ever witnessed in our country. Approximately 77 percent of Bellevue households returned their census forms by mail; the remaining households were counted by census workers walking neighborhoods throughout the city.

Bellevue's profile of general population and housing characteristics contains information on age, sex, race, Hispanic or Latino origin, household relationship, houshold type, group quarters population, housing occupancy and housing tenure for the city's population as a whole.

The Neighborhood Profile page contains additional information about Bellevue and its neighborhoods from the 2010 Census and the 2005-2009 American Community Survey .

National and state population totals from the 2010 Census were released on Dec. 21, 2010, and redistricting data for Washington State were released on February 22, 2011. The schedule of 2010 Census data release dates can be viewed here.
